I’m Markus — a former ship captain turned surf coach and mountain wanderer. I guide calm, small-group days between the sea and the Arctic mountains.

Markus in the mountains

Illusia Adventures grew from years at sea and in the mountains. After working as a captain, I began guiding people in smaller, quieter environments — surfing, snow-surfing, and climbing.

I believe in slow days, clear decisions, and experiences that feel meaningful rather than impressive.

Certifications: ISA Surf Instructor, SKIL (Finnish Climbing Association) trainer, WAFA Wilderness Advanced First Aid, SHORY Snowboard instructor and avalanche technician education in progress.

Illusia Adventures is about moving slow enough to actually be there. We build confidence through clear steps, simple decisions, and days that feel safe.

Most days are quiet in the best way: a few people, a plan that fits the conditions, and space to breathe.
